This reflects the fact that the brutes in the banished are more strategic and resourceful, they don't have to use those crude weapons anymore. The banished weapons still use that 'brutish' design but their weapons are more complex and developed in general than the covi-brute weapons. It has been nearly six months, though, so it's got to keep that good-will. It wasn't hard to be positive about the game, released in a week that also saw Call of Duty: Vanguard and Battlefield 2042 slop into existence. It launched with a great assortment of Multiplayer Maps, a Campaign that was better than both of 343 Industries' previous games, and a level of polish that was shocking considering the games' contemporaries. It's actually a shame that Halo Infinite is in the state that it's in, because the game is absolutely incredible. We need it to absolutely blast, we need it to be so explosively fantastic that it manages to retain a player-base that has seen a number of losses in the months since the game dropped in December. After all, the mid-Season Update failed to literally add anything and things like Co-Op and Forge won't be here for a while (though the former may release later in Season 2). Halo Infinite Season 2 has a lot riding on it. Halo Infinite Season 2 needs to revitalize the game, or it will fail. We already have an idea about what will be coming, but a series of leaks reveal our first-look at what it will all look like. Halo Infinite Season 2 is on the near-horizon, finally.
